Janice's career has involved navigating key challenges in the steel industry, including the impact of price volatility, high energy consumption and environmental impact, safety management, and global competition. As HR and Administration Manager (Ireland), Janice managed daily people operations, including union negotiations, performance management, and talent planning, while overseeing parts of the safety management framework to meet high regulatory standards. She supported company directors at the executive level, was appointed trustee director, and served as company secretary for the company's Irish entity.
She has experience of transportation in the third-sector, and working within academia and print management.
