I’m Ciara, a trained mediator who believes that when people are given the right space and support, difficult conversations can lead to real, positive change.
I completed my mediation training with the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (MII) at Maynooth University and completed my Family Mediation Training with the Irish Professional Mediators Organisation. I also hold a Micro-Credential in Family Law from the University of Limerick. This training gives me a strong grounding in the practical aspects of mediation, particularly in family-related matters.
I volunteer with Gort Family Resource Centre and am actively involved in promoting mediation within the local community, including through my local sports club. I’m passionate about making mediation more accessible and helping people see it as a constructive, empowering option rather than a last resort.
My approach to mediation is calm, supportive, and facilitative. I aim to create a safe, respectful space where people can slow down, communicate openly, and work towards practical, lasting solutions that feel fair to everyone involved.
