Bio
I am a Qualified Mediator with a particular expertise in workplace issues, with 20 years of experience
as a HR professional in the retail trade. I hold a Masters degree in Employment Law and
postgraduate diplomas in both Employment Law and Mediation from the Law Society of Ireland. I
believe in the importance and value of using alternative dispute resolution methods, particularly in
the workplace where individual conflicts can lead to wider dysfunction among teams. From
experience I know that the use of traditional grievance, investigation and disciplinary processes
rarely lead to beneficial outcomes for the parties or for the wider business and in many cases can
lead entrenched cycles of conflict.
