The Irish Professional Mediators’ Organisation (CLG), ‘IPMO’, is a professional membership body of mediators in Ireland established in September 2021 – We are an independent non-profit organisation which represents the interests of our members and promotes excellence in all areas of professional mediation practice, and public awareness of the benefits of mediation.

We are a community of professionals who aim to deliver mediation services to the highest standards.

1. To support its members to deliver an effective and professional mediation service in the resolution of civil disputes.
2. To assist in the growth of the market for mediation services in Ireland by promoting public awareness of mediation and by contributing to national policy in this area.
3. To promote diversity amongst practitioners and in the practice of mediation in Ireland.

IPMO's Board consists of experienced Mediators, Academics, Legal Practitioners & HR experts. Board members chair committees which work synergistically to realise the organisations' goals & objectives. 

The structure of our board reflects the goals of our organisation. We aim for active communication with members on all aspects of how our organisation is run and how we can best meet their needs in the professional practice of mediation.

Each of our Committees has a Chair, a Deputy Chair and up to 4 other members to support their work. If you feel you can contribute to our organisation, please let us know.
